Opportunity

Pikes Peak Early College high school students can earn both their high school diploma and a two-year associate’s degree (or up to 60 college credit toward their bachelor’s degree or certification) while still in high school; saving students and their families time and money. We help students determine their college pathway by providing career explorations, job-shadowing, and internship opportunities.

Personalization

Pikes Peak Early College provides a rigorous and relevant learning environment that teaches students to problem solve and think critically.  Our learning model takes students' learning to the next level through project and problem-based learning in an effort to both emulate and prepare students for college classes.  PPEC's hybrid model is designed to optimize student learning and individualize their instruction to better meet their particular learning needs.  We scaffold our learning environment to ensure students are successful upon taking their first college course.  We utilize students' aptitudes and interests to assist students in designing their unique learning pathways.  PPEC has partnerships with several community colleges and universities around the state of Colorado to meet students' individual college needs.
